Sthabele is originally from Bhamshela, South Africa, where she completed her matric before beginning her journey in weaving. Now a devoted single mother of one, she draws daily inspiration from her child and the natural beauty of her surroundings. Sthabele specialises in weaving rugs inspired by the organic shapes of nature and the textures of the bushveld, translating these elements into grounded, expressive designs. She finds weaving both calming and deeply fulfilling, describing it as a space where she can focus, create, and feel at ease. Outside of her work, Sthabele enjoys reading and spending quality time playing with her child, cherishing the balance between creativity and family life.
