Windrift is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Modern Collection, crafted on a base of Etosha Karakul in soft white. The Etosha yarn introduces a distinctive bouclé texture, formed by naturally curled mohair fibres spun into the yarn to create a gentle, looped surface with soft tactile dimension. This textured foundation establishes a calm, organic base that defines the rug’s understated character.

The pattern is articulated in Black Beauty–dyed Karakul, complemented by additional colour-matched Karakul tones that introduce subtle variation in depth and warmth. These darker fibres move naturally through the pale Etosha base, creating contrast that feels grounded and fluid rather than stark. The result is a balanced composition with a soft, rhythmic interplay of tone and texture.
