Softness

Softness is a handwoven mohair rug from our Modern Collection, crafted on a base of Etosha Karakul from our Texture Collection. This natural fibre area rug highlights the distinctive bouclé character of Etosha, where naturally curled mohair fibres are spun into the yarn to create a soft, looped foundation with gentle dimension and a calm, tactile presence.

The pattern is expressed in Tahat, a bouclé yarn from the Texture Collection whose warm, natural tone integrates seamlessly into the Etosha base. Rather than creating strong contrast, the interaction between these two bouclé yarns produces a subtle layering of texture and tone. This understated interplay results in a softly structured surface with a quiet, contemporary rhythm.

Handwoven by skilled artisans, the Softness rug provides a naturally plush yet resilient underfoot experience. Its muted palette and refined bouclé texture bring warmth, acoustic softness, and relaxed sophistication to interior spaces. Suitable for both modern residential and hospitality environments, Softness is a timeless design element rooted in natural fibres and thoughtful craftsmanship.
