Onyx is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Tribal Collection, crafted by skilled artisans using a rich blend of Bushveld Tan bouclé yarn, Black Beauty–dyed Karakul wool, and Latte–dyed Karakul wool. Each fibre contributes its own tonal depth and texture, creating a layered surface that feels both earthy and refined.

The foundation is formed by Bushveld Tan, a texture yarn known for its warm tone and softly looped bouclé surface. This tactile base introduces organic dimension and a grounded warmth. Moving across this foundation, Black Beauty Karakul adds bold, dark accents, while Latte–dyed Karakul brings a softer, creamy contrast.

Together, these fibres create a mineral-inspired rhythm—a subtle movement of shadow, warmth, and highlight that reflects the Tribal Collection’s focus on authentic materials, natural variation, and fibre-driven design.
