Sample Koda
Koda is a handwoven natural fibre rug from our Tribal Collection, crafted from a pairing of Fynbos Celadon bouclé yarn and Black Beauty–dyed Karakul wool. These fibres, each with their own distinctive texture and tonal clarity, create a layered, expressive surface that defines the rug’s character.
The Fynbos Celadon texture yarn introduces a softly curled bouclé structure with a subtle cool-toned tint. This foundation brings gentle sheen, tactile depth, and organic movement to the surface. Across this base, Black Beauty Karakul wool adds bold, dark accents that carve out contrast and rhythm within the design.
The interplay between the pale celadon bouclé and the deep black Karakul produces a graphic, hand-drawn quality, echoing the Tribal Collection’s focus on raw materials, expressive contrast, and fibre-driven design.
Renowned for its softness, resilience, and durability, Karakul wool offers a comfortable underfoot feel while maintaining long-term structural integrity. Expertly handwoven by skilled artisans, Koda reflects the authenticity of traditional craftsmanship while presenting a design suited to contemporary interiors.
As a luxury heirloom-quality rug, Koda is crafted to endure and complement a wide range of interior styles. Its natural fibres, layered texture, and timeless palette allow it to enhance both minimal and richly layered spaces, making it an enduring statement piece for living rooms, bedrooms, and hospitality interiors.
