Herdlands

Herdlands is a handcrafted luxury rug from our Oushak Collection, made in India by India Loom House using premium New Zealand wool or alpaca wool. Rich in natural softness and texture, Herdlands offers a warm and refined underfoot experience while maintaining the durability and resilience expected of an heirloom-quality natural fibre rug. The premium fibres introduce subtle tonal variation and tactile depth, creating a grounded yet elevated foundation that enhances both comfort and visual harmony within the home.

Expertly handwoven by skilled artisans, Herdlands reflects the timeless influence of traditional Oushak design while maintaining a refined, versatile aesthetic suited to both contemporary and classic interiors. Its soft muted palette and understated patterning bring organic beauty, quiet elegance, and visual depth into interior spaces, allowing the rug to integrate effortlessly into layered and curated environments. The balanced construction ensures long-lasting durability while preserving a soft, luxurious underfoot feel.

Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, lounges, and thoughtfully designed interior settings, Herdlands functions as both a grounding design element and a statement of artisanal craftsmanship. Designed for everyday living, it embodies enduring craftsmanship, natural materials, and timeless interior appeal, positioning it as a distinguished choice for luxury sustainable home décor, artisan-made rugs, and heirloom-quality interior accents crafted in India.
